GPS Tracks

Where I've Been

By recording a track (an electronic bread-crumb trail) on my GPS (hardware details on Gear page) while riding and then converting it into Google Earth© format, it's possible to see almost exactly where I've traveled.

If you haven't already used this amazing software to view the Grand Canyon, Eiffel Tower or your own house, then you don't know what you're missing. To read all about the system requirements and download a free copy, go here:

www.earth.google.com

If you're already using Google Earth©, then all you have to do is click on a Track Leg below to download it and open a small file allowing you see my tracks in Google Earth©. It will create a folder in the 'Places' window on the left side of the screen. Inside that folder you will see a subfolder which contains individual tracks for each day I've traveled (by moto in red, travel by other means in blue).

Tips
- You can double-click on a specific day's track to zoom in on it, or checked/uncheck it to turn it on/off.
- You may find it is easier to see my track line by zooming in and out, or by turning off all other 'Layers'.
- Travel by moto: Red line, travel by other: Blue line.

Videos

What I've Seen

Here's a glimpse into some of the places I've visited through the lense of a video camera. Most are taken with my helmet mounted lens, but a few were shot with the video camera itself inhand, or with my still camera which also captures video (hardware details on Gear page).

You can either right-click and save a video file on your computer, then double-click on the file to watch it in any common video player software you have OR you can left-click on the file and it should open your player automatically.

As I'm new to editing videos, it's still very time consuming so I haven't released many yet. More to come soon though.

What I'm Listening To

I enjoy listening to a variety of music in my helmet while riding (hardware details on Gear page). It not only helps make the occasional 'grey' day just a little brighter, but it also brings me back home when I'm feeling a little lost.

Occasionally, I hear a catchy local beat like the ones I've got here that get my foot twitchin', even if I don't know what every word means (that's my disclaimer if you happen to find they contain something offensive).

These files are in MP3 format. You can either right-click and save them on your computer, then double-click to listen OR you can left-click on the file and it should open your player automatically.
